SwagBucks – Prizes for searching

 
 

I first discovered SwagBucks about a year back in an article published in my girlfriend’s mother’s women’s magazine. (I was in some kind of read as much magazines as you could phase.) It was a short article which just mentioned how SwagBucks will give you prizes for doing what you are already doing online.

For instance, SwagBucks has many different ways for you to earn “web bucks:”

1. Search the Web and earn
2. Invite a friend and earn
3. Promote and earn
4. Buy online and earn
5. Enter a promotion code and earn
6. Trade in a cell phone or game and earn

Eventually, after earning so many “web bucks” or SwagBucks you could trade them in for prizes: apparel, books, electronics, magazines, gift cards, and more!

The company has made it so easy to earn SwagBucks. For example, I use Firefox and Firefox allows you to install different search engines in your search box. So, as smart as those SwagBucks people are, they created one for you and me to install. Now, instead of using Google to search everything, I use SwagBucks. After all, SwagBucks uses Google search anyway and in a sense you’re getting the same results. I say, “In a sense” because SwagBucks customized their Google search to fit their needs.

That being said, SwagBucks caught my attention again with their release of their Facebuck application. What it is is an application that combines SwagBucks and Facebook. Basically, it allows you to notify your friends when you win SwagBucks and invite them to join SwagBucks. When the application notifies your friends and family, it posts a link for them to sign up too. That link is your own personal referral link.

This makes it a whole lot easier for you to earn more SwagBucks for yourself. When you invite someone, if they earn a SwagBuck for searching, you do too.

So to get started, if you don’t already have a SwagBucks account, I suggest you go ahead and signup for one. After all, it’s absolutely free! Then you can add a search engine to your browser or use the SwagBucks’ site directly to search. If you already do have one, I suggest setting up the Facebook application and earn even more.

While writing this article my mom (who is visiting my place) just asked what SwagBucks was. I didn’t even have to recommend her. It was posted on my Facebook when I searched and earned 2 SwagBucks. That just proves that the Facebook application made my life a whole lot easier. Now I can focus more on the prize then the recommendations.
